Robert Rodriguez’s sequel ‘Machete Kills’ won’t be blasting it’s way into theaters until September, but it’s time to start the ramp up and what better way than Facebook?
That’s really a question. Is there a better way than Facebook?
Bypass all my quips and questions by liking the film yourself at it’s Facebook Page. Otherwise, strap in for a Michelle Rodriguez character poster, because that’s what you clicked for.

‘Blade Runner 2′ Hires ‘Green Lantern’ Writer

BLADE_RUNNER_BANNER
If you hold out hope that there’s something more to be mined from Ridley Scott in a (Se?Pre?)quel to his other famous sci-fi film, ‘Blade Runner,’ then: HOO BOY, true believer, great news for you!
The Wrap is reporting that Michael Green, writer of ‘Green Lantern’ (no relation) and succinctly titled television like ‘Heroes’ and ‘Kings’ has been hired on by Warner Brothers to write a ‘Blade Runner 2′ for Scott Free, Ridley Scott’s production company.
One way of looking at this is as a sign of new movement on the project, perhaps in time to bring back Harrison Ford in some manner, as an old man…thereby ruining certain readings of the classic film…which sounds a lot like ‘Prometheus’… but maybe good this time?
I’m sorry, I let that line of thinking get away from me.
Another way of looking at this is a trial balloon draft, which I can only assume Scott Free drowns in considering how many different projects Ridley Scott speaks into existence in-between movies.
The truth?
Michael Green is writing something in the ‘Blade Runner’ universe…that seems to be about it.

Chicago Gay Couple Ejected From Cab After Innocent Backseat Kiss

Screen Shot 2013-06-03 at 4.42.07 PMA gay couple in Chicago said they were nearly thrown out of a cab on the side of an expressway in torrential downpour after sharing what they claimed was “a peck” in the back seat. Good thing this driver doesn’t work the mean streets of New York City, because we know plenty of crafty city slickers that got away with much more than that…
While on their way home from Chicago O’Hare on Thursday night, Matt McCrea told CBS Chicago that his boyfriend Steven White “leaned over to look at something on the phone and then leaned in to kiss me.” The driver, who later told police the couple was “making sex,” claimed “it was a public mode of transportation and [they] shouldn’t kiss.”
Police arrived at the supermarket parking lot where the couple was eventually dropped off at 11:30 p.m., but there was no evidence of “sex making.” Just a prudish cab driver.
“He could have asked us to please don’t do that and handle the situation a lot differently than it was handled,” McCrea said. Although the couple plans to file a complaint with the taxi company, they seem pretty unscarred by the whole situation. The two were all smiles in the interview with CBS Chicago and even shared a “peck” in front of the news camera, a place where gay kisses are more than acceptable.
