WASHINGTON – Al terminar hoy su segundo día de reuniones en Washington, el gobernador Luis Fortuño tendrá un evento de recaudación de fondos en el que el invitado especial es el senador republicano Marco Rubio (Florida).
Los encuentros oficiales incluyen una reunión con el secretario de Transportación, Ray LaHood, confirmó Nicole Guillemard, directora ejecutiva de la Administración de Asuntos Federales de Puerto Rico (PRFAA).
Entre lunes y martes tenía previsto reunirse con miembros del Congreso, entre ellos los senadores Jeff Bingaman, demócrata por Nuevo México; Lamar Alexander, republicano por Tenesí; y Ron Wyden, demócrata por Oregón.
Esta noche, a partir de las 6:30 p.m., asistirá al evento de recaudación de fondos en la empresa de cabilderos BGR Group.
Los organizadores de la actividad incluyen al comité de acción política de la aerolínea Jet Blue, que recientemente ha expandido sus operaciones en la Isla.
Fortuño inició su viaje número 54 del cuatrienio con su participación el sábado y domingo en la reunión de verano de la Asociación de Gobernadores de Estados Unidos, en Williamsburg (Virginia).

WASHINGTON - After today the second day of meetings in Washington, Governor Luis Fortuño will have a fundraising event in which the special guest is Republican Senator Marco Rubio (Florida). The official meetings include a meeting with Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood confirmed Nicole Guillemard, executive director of Federal Affairs Administration of Puerto Rico (PRFAA). Between Monday and Tuesday was scheduled to meet with members of Congress, including Sens. Jeff Bingaman, Democrat of New Mexico, Lamar Alexander, Tennessee Republican, and Ron Wyden, Democrat of Oregon. Tonight, from 6:30 pm will attend the fundraising event in the company of lobbyists BGR Group. The organizers of the activity include the political action committee of the airline Jet Blue, which recently expanded its operations on the Island Fortuño number 54 began its journey with its share of four years on Saturday and Sunday at the summer meeting of the Association of Governors of the United States in Williamsburg (Virginia).
