Jorge Santini, en semanas recientes, le tiró un toallazo (práctica común en el PNP), a la mentira cuando afirmó: “nosotros no negociaríamos una estadidad sin el español”. Esta postura choca en esencia con la de los cuatro precandidatos a la presidencia de Estados Unidos por el Partido Republicano, quienes, de distintas formas, ha afirmado favorecer “que el inglés sea el idioma oficial de los Estados Unidos”.
Y choca también con sus acciones y la del liderato PNP que siguen sacándonos la lengua cuando insisten en decir que no van a negociar el español, cuando como cuestión de hecho, no se cansan de entregarlo y despreciarlo.
Recordemos que en 2009, el representante Charlie Hernández denunció que la Cámara de Representantes aprobó la Regla 8.7 de Procedimiento Civil con una disposición que permite que una parte litigue su reclamación únicamente en inglés. Poniendo en desventaja a los ciudadanos en los procesos judiciales y limitando la práctica de aquellos abogados que no hablen inglés. La versión original de dicha regla proveía garantías para el litigante que no hablaba español. ¿Será ésta una de las razones por la que quieren controlar la Administración de Tribunales que dirige el Juez Presidente del Tribunal Supremo?
Oculta el PNP que el Tribunal Supremos de EE.UU. ha dicho que “ningún estado puede entrar a la unión con privilegios y derechos que no aplican de forma similar a todos los estados”. Olvidan que el informe de Casa Blanca adelantó que bajo la estadidad el idioma oficial del gobierno sería el inglés. El español quedaría como un idioma casero, subordinado, no apto para el poder ni para la creación.
No se descoloniza a un pueblo suplantándole una lengua por otra, ni obligándole a defenderse en las cortes en un idioma ajeno. Este es el peor acto de coloniaje, el más insufrible y abyecto.
La estadidad te quita la Patria, te quita la lengua, te quita poderes y reniega de lo que somos, es una ruta de la indignidad.
Cínicamente alegan -en engañol- que van a defender la lengua los mismos que se roban el agua, la luz y entregaron cien mil empleos de la sección 936, en aras del fanatismo ideológico.
Si eso hicieron con la economía, que es el pan de la gente que merece respeto, ¡que no van a hacer contra la cultura y la lengua!
El asimilismo quiere despojarnos de la fortaleza espiritual que da la lengua porque ésta aviva el sentimiento nacional. Triste destino el pueblo que abandona su lengua y su cultura, para estallar en el vacío sin honor.
Si el español fuera compatible con la estadidad, ¿por qué el empeño en imponernos el San Juan City Police, Guaynabo City y Walkable City? ¿Por qué eliminaron la lectura de los clásicos puertorriqueños en el Departamento de Educación? ¿Por qué en las vistas del Congreso no exigieron que se establecieran de antemano y por escrito, las condiciones de la estadidad en el plebiscito? ¿Por qué quieren que votemos a ciegas y traquetean con el destino del País? Todo es una trampa y un engaño de parte de un régimen que pretende ocultar las graves consecuencias espirituales y económicas de la estadidad. Estadidad que económicamente es incosteable y culturalmente, un suicidio.
Un país no es sólo cultura y no es sólo economía, es ambas. Lo grave es que el proyecto del PNP para el siglo XXI es uno de demolición de instituciones y de las agencias de gobierno que puedan ser un obstáculo para la estadidad, aunque se reviente el País.
Nadie se llame a engaño. La estadidad no es un derecho, es una concesión. La estadidad no es un asunto de derechos civiles, todo lo contrario, atenta contra ellos.
Los derechos civiles de un pueblo consisten en mantener lengua, cultura y dignidad. Sin embargo, desde el fanatismo ideológico, el patético proyecto del siglo XXI es convertir un país en minoría perpetua, y a eso le llaman descolonizar. Qué engañol.

This position essentially collides with that of the four candidates for president of the United States by the Republican Party, who, in different ways, said to favor "making English the official language of the United States."

Not a people decolonization suplantándole one language for another, or forcing him to defend himself in court in a foreign language. This is the worst act of colonialism, the most insufferable and abject.
Statehood takes away your homeland, you remove the language, takes away powers and denies what we are, is a path of indignity.
Engañol cynically claim-in-that they will defend the same language that steal water, light, and gave one hundred thousand jobs in section 936, for the sake of ideological fanaticism.
If that did to the economy, which is the bread of the people who deserve respect, they will not do against the culture and language!
The assimilation want to strip us of the spiritual strength that gives the language because it fuels the national sentiment. Sad fate the people who leave their language and culture, to explode in a vacuum without honor.
If Spanish is compatible with statehood, why the effort to impose the San Juan City Police, Guaynabo City and Walkable City? Why eliminated the reading of classic Puerto Rican Department of Education? Why in the views of Congress did not require the establishment in advance and in writing, the conditions of statehood in a plebiscite? Why do you want us to vote blindly and rattle with the fate of the country? Everything is a snare and a delusion on the part of a scheme which aims to hide the serious spiritual and economic consequences of statehood. Statehood which is economically unaffordable and culturally suicidal.
A country is not only culture and not just economics, it is both. The trouble is that the NPP project for the twenty-first century is a demolition of institutions and government agencies that may be an obstacle to statehood, but to burst the country.
No one should be deceived. Statehood is not a right, is a concession. Statehood is not a civil rights issue, on the contrary, attacks them.
The civil rights of a people are to maintain language, culture and dignity. However, since the ideological fanaticism, the pathetic XXI century project is to convert a country in perpetual minority, as they call it decolonized. What engañol.

The integrity of electoral processes is the cornerstone of our democratic system. The poor handling of the recently held primaries should not be overlooked. We should all raise a loud voice of protest to complain to politicians and the Election Commission (EC) a substantial improvement.
The following are my recommendations for improving the scrutiny and counting of votes for the next election.
Account for and report the results of the vote in full in a separate school certificate. This act would also be used for school closing count. About 92 percent of the votes cast are integers, therefore it would early afternoon partial results. School officials would use a separate accounting record and report the remainder of the ballots: mixed votes for candidates and others. This will facilitate the award and counting of these ballots as they would be working with a much smaller universe of ballots.
Generally, they represent about eight percent of the total vote. The integrity of the process greatly improves the integrity of votes counted separately. Implementing this system does not imply any change of voting system that we currently have. Only changes the way of reporting results.

According to my horoscope today is a good day to express to those who occupy important positions. As I expressed in relation to the primary New Progressive Party (PNP).
Many we place trust and we vote for a better country, but we were wrong because we have walked far from improving as crab, pa 'after.
Since the beginning of four years, Law 7, Closure Law, roads, water and electricity bills, news of corruption, scandals, rioting, gossip, murder, theft, health, safety, schools, etc..
The promise of statehood has been the shield up and get rich at the expense of the people without positive results. So why are the "shock" defeated politicians? I'll tell ... For not doing their job!

The chosen few new, supposedly new faces, lacking what it takes to help our broken people.
Within these "new" slipped some dinosaurs that have nothing to offer. Now, the percent greater than elected, retained and hung all they care about is getting a position in the legislature for personal improvement, gaining access to expensive cars, good wages, good diets and little sacrifice. What ever would on their regular jobs or positions in private life.
The very few who come here with good intentions, are corrupted and end up being more of the same. And that thanks to the media comes to light and found out most of these compromises the palace.

Hoy, cuando candidatos y electores de los principales partidos levantan serias dudas sobre la pureza de las primarias, la Comisión Estatal de Elecciones (CEE) viene obligada a proteger la integridad de nuestro proceso electoral, un bastión de la democracia defendido con tenacidad desde que tomó vigencia en el País el sufragio universal.

La integridad en los procesos eleccionarios es el pilar de nuestro sistema democrático. El pésimo manejo de las primarias recientemente celebradas no se debe pasar por alto. Todos debemos levantar una fuerte voz de protesta para reclamarle a los políticos y a la Comisión Estatal de Elecciones (CEE) una sustancial mejoría.

Las siguientes son mis recomendaciones para mejorar el escrutinio y contabilización de los votos para la próxima contienda electoral.

Contabilizar y reportar los resultados de los votos íntegros en un acta de colegio separada. Esta acta también se usaría para el cuadre de colegio. Cerca de un 92 por ciento de los votos emitidos son íntegros, por tal razón temprano en la tarde tendríamos resultados parciales. Los funcionarios de colegio utilizarían un acta separada para contabilizar y reportar el remanente de las papeletas: votos mixtos, por candidatura y otros. De esta manera se facilita la adjudicación y contabilización de estas papeletas ya que se estaría trabajando con un universo de papeletas mucho menor.

Generalmente, éstas representan cerca de un ocho por ciento del voto total. La integridad del proceso mejora de gran manera al contabilizarse los votos íntegros por separado. Implementar este sistema no conlleva cambio alguno del sistema de escrutinio que tenemos al presente. Solo se cambia la manera de reportar los resultados.

Contabilizar la papeleta municipal es difícil para el funcionario promedio. Esta papeleta es la última en escrutarse tarde en la noche cuando todos están cansados. Por tal razón, sugiero que solamente se escrute y se reporte el cargo de alcalde. El escrutinio para los legisladores municipales (las papeletas mixtas y por candidaturas) podría llevarse a cabo el día siguiente.

También recomiendo que se legisle para que el conteo empiece a lastres de la tarde. Hay mejoras adicionales que se pueden implementar utilizando avances en la tecnología. El sistema prácticamente no ha cambiado durante los últimos 25 años.

Desde el pasado 30 de noviembre 2011, solicité para mi señora madre un servicio de desganche frente a su hogar.

He realizado varias llamadas a la oficina técnica de la Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica de Yauco, y aunque muy amablemente personal de la agencia me ha indicado que ofrecerán la información a un algún supervisor, al momento continuamos esperando por el servicio.

La solicitud es Wr-3559888. Esperamos se tome la debida acción correspondiente, ya que hemos esperado por cuatro meses.

No hacen su trabajo

Según mi horóscopo hoy es un buen día para expresarme ante aquellos que ocupan puestos importantes. Pues me expreso en relación a las primarias del Partido Nuevo Progresista (PNP).

Muchos depositamos la confianza y dimos el voto para un país mejor, pero que equivocados estábamos pues lejos de mejorar hemos caminado como el cangrejo, pa’ tras.

Desde que comenzó el cuatrienio, la Ley 7, Ley de Cierre, las carreteras, facturas de agua y luz, noticias de corrupción, escándalos, bochinches, dimes y diretes, asesinatos, robos, servicios de salud, seguridad, escuelas, etc.

La promesa de la estadidad ha sido el escudo para subir y enriquecerse a costa del pueblo sin resultados positivos. Entonces, ¿por qué están en “shock” los políticos derrotados? Les diré... ¡por no hacer su trabajo!

Nada pasó debido a que los electores votaron por mantener los mismos mañosos y aprovechados en el poder.

Los pocos nuevos escogidos, dizque caras nuevas, carecen de lo que se necesita para ayudar a nuestro maltrecho pueblo.

Dentro de esos “nuevos” se colaron algunos dinosaurios que ya nada tienen que ofrecernos. Ahora, el por ciento mayor de elegidos, retenidos y colgados lo único que les importa es obtener una posición en la legislatura para su mejoramiento personal, obteniendo acceso a vehículos caros, buenos sueldos, buenas dietas y poco sacrificio. Lo que jamás tendrían en sus trabajos o posiciones habituales en la vida privada.

Los muy pocos que allí llegan con buenas intenciones, se corrompen y terminan siendo más de lo mismo. Y eso que gracias a los medios noticiosos sale a la luz pública y nos enteramos de casi todas esas componendas de palacio.
