News documentary Haiti: Where Did the Money Go? has won a National Edward R Murrow Award winner from the Radio Television Digital News Association.
The documentary, which examines problems with aid pledged to Haiti following the earthquake, won the category for Large Market News Documentary.
The film was written, produced and directed by journalist Michele Mitchell, edited by Nick Louvel and scored by Nicholas Britell.

ReplyDeleteDesde que la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) determinó en el 1960 que el coloniaje es un crimen en contra de la humanidad, no hay más necesidad para consultas o plebiscitos. La solución es entregarle a Puerto Rico su soberanía.
Pero como el Gobierno de Estados Unidos (EEUU) no quiere hacer eso, ha ignorado las 33 resoluciones de la ONU pidiéndole exactamente eso. EEUU para engañar al mundo que le interesa descolonizar a Puerto Rico, continúa proponiendo plebiscitos para saber lo que quiere los puertorriqueños. Aunque 100% de los puertorriqueños queramos seguir siendo una colonia de Estados Unidos, todavía estaríamos obligado a tomar nuestra soberanía para después decidir que queremos hacer.
Lo único que sirve estos plebiscitos es para que EEUU divida los puertorriqueños. Un puertorriqueño no nos invadió para hacernos una colonia. ¿Cuándo nos daremos cuenta que tenemos que unirnos?
¡Por eso es que tenemos que protestar pacíficamente por lo menos 3 veces al año hasta que lograr la descolonización de Puerto Rico!
